28 May 2007- PTA and MEG prices are slightly rising in Asia, in line with higher raw material costs for regional producers. First nominations for PTA's June deliveries were announced on Friday, reflecting a sharp increase in prices. Paraxylene contract prices for June could be settled at much higher levels than in May, in addition. Polyester prices were slightly raised over the weekend in China, although demand remains relatively depressed.
