India Viscose Fiber and Yarn Prices

Viscose market in India is progressively waking up. Prices were raised for the second quarter by the sole producer of staple fibers, Grasim Industries. Also a global leader, Grasim intends largely expanding its Indian capacities in the coming years. Spun yarns producers are currently confronted with a lack of supply, however, as exports of higher-priced fibers are apparently favored. There is no strong rise in viscose consumption, as a result.
