Graduate Fashion Week was launched in 1991 as a forum to showcase the very best BA Graduate fashion design talent in the UK. In 2007 we will celebrate our 16th anniversary. As always, the event attracts fashion scouts from the UK and overseas, all looking for that unique quirky Britishness that has helped to make some of the worlds most famous design houses the success they are today. The 2007 event will take place from Sunday June 3rd to Wednesday June 6th, and will feature 42 of the top fashion and textile universities/colleges in the UK. It includes a static exhibition and two fashion theatres hosting 22 shows over the four days, and culminates in the glamorous Gala Fashion Show and Awards on Wednesday June 6th.

Graduate Fashion Week is run by a Board of Trustees and an Executive Committee - all of whom are senior course leaders – who represent the wishes and views of all exhibiting colleges. They are voted in at the AGM each year. The organization and administration of GFW is run from their appointed event organisers offices in Sussex.
