Action: On 24 February 2007, five separate actions relating to Council Regulation 1472/2006 imposing definitive anti-dumping duties on mainland Chinese and Vietnamese imports of leather footwear were published in the Official Journal.
The applications were made by the following companies:

Brosman Footwear (HK) Ltd (Knowloon, Hong Kong); Seasonable Footwear (Zhong Shan) Ltd (Banfu, China); Lung Pao Footwear (Guangzhou) Ltd (Guangzhou, China); and Risen Footwear (HK) Co. Ltd (Knowloon, Hong Kong);

Zejiang Aokang Shoes Co., Ltd (Oubei, China);
-
Whenzhou Taima Shoes Co., Ltd (Yang Yi, China);
-
Sun Sang Kong Yuen Shoes Factory (Hui Yang) Co., Ltd (Xin Xu, China); and
-
Foshan City Nanhai Golden Step Industrial Co. Ltd (Hong Kong, China).
All five actions seek the annulment of Council Regulation 1472/2006 to the extent that it imposes anti-dumping duties on exports by the respective applicants.
Commodity: Zinc oxide (chemical formula ZnO) with a purity of not less than 93% zinc oxide, currently classifiable within CN code ex 2817 00 00.
Countries/Economies: Chinese mainland
Action: On 1 March 2007, the Official Journal published a notice of the expiry of anti-dumping measures applicable to imports of zinc oxides originating in the Chinese mainland. On 23 June 2006 a notice of impending expiry had been published, following which no request for a review was received.
Dates: The measures were set to expire on 6 March 2007.
